Top 10 vegan restaurants and cafes in Singapore you must try

28 places on OneHungryHippo · reviewed October 2026

If you want somewhere that is vegan from top to bottom, with nothing to check and nothing to ask, this is the list. These are the fully vegan restaurants, cafes, bakeries and caterers in Singapore. No egg, no dairy, no honey, no fish sauce hiding in the gravy. It is a smaller group than the vegetarian scene, but it is growing, and it covers a lot of ground: burgers, bakes, Japanese, local hawker-style dishes, wholefoods bowls and a fair bit of very good cake.

For context, the vegetarian food in Singapore runs into the hundreds of places, and a big share of that is Buddhist vegetarian and effectively vegan anyway. But when you want the certainty of a kitchen with no animal products at all, these are the spots. They are spread across the island, so check the location and the opening hours before you go.

Our directory lists 28 vegan places: 12 restaurants, 5 hawker stalls, 4 dessert shops, 3 bakeries, 3 cafés and a caterer. The scene leans casual, so brunch, bakes and quick meals are easier to find than formal dinners. Many are tucked inside malls or upper floors, and several keep short or unusual hours, so check the listing before you go.

Good to know

  • This list is fully vegan places only. For the much larger set of Buddhist vegetarian stalls, which are also mostly free of egg and dairy, see the hawker and area guides.
  • The vegan scene skews towards cafes, bakeries and casual spots rather than big sit-down restaurants, so a lot of it is best for brunch, a sweet fix or a quick meal.
  • A few of these are online preorder or catering only, so check the listing before turning up expecting a shopfront.
  • Places open and change fast in this part of the scene. If something looks off, use the report link on the listing so we can fix it.
  • Opening days are the main trap with vegan places. Rya Bakehouse is open Thursday to Sunday, Veg-An Wednesday to Sunday, Mummy Yummy weekdays only, and Wakamama is by reservation and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
