Top 10 vegetarian food in Sengkang you must try

15 places on OneHungryHippo · reviewed October 2026

Sengkang is one of the few places in Singapore where the LRT is as useful as the MRT for finding vegetarian food. Our directory has fifteen places here, and they sit near different stations, so the first decision is which loop you are on. Sengkang MRT serves the Sengkang Square cluster, Fernvale LRT serves the Sengkang West Avenue and Fernvale Road stalls, and the Compassvale, Bakau, Thanggam and Farmway LRT stations each reach one or two more.

The easiest stop is Kopitiam Square at 10 Sengkang Square, three minutes from Sengkang MRT. Green Leaf Cuisine, Guang Yuan Vegetarian and Su Man Yuan Vegetarian are all there, along with Bao Su Zhai at 5 Sengkang Square, one minute from the station. Su Man Yuan is known for egg with tomato and stir-fried bittergourd with mock meat, Green Leaf for thosai and lei cha thunder tea, and Bao Su Zhai for noodle soups at $7.30 to $7.90.

Around Fernvale LRT you get a mix. Just Green Vegetarian on Fernvale Road is a minute away and opens at 6am. Greendot Kopihouse and Dough Culture on Sengkang West Avenue are both within about two minutes, and Nature's Harvest Vegetarian, a shop selling frozen vegetarian products, Hong Kong style barbecue buns and mock meat, is two minutes away. Nature's Harvest describes itself as egg-free and is closed on Mondays. Jia Jia Vegetarian (Sengkang West) opens at 5:30am with eight treasures porridge, vegetarian mee hoon and fried Hokkien mee.

For a sit-down meal, Saute & Mee at Anchorvale Road is a minute from Farmway LRT and serves mala tang, wanton noodles and braised yee noodles at $10.90 to $11.90. The restaurant says its food is allium-free. SHU Vegetarian at Jalan Kayu is the late-night option, open until 1am, with grilled fish dishes and a mala hotpot set. Nature Vegetarian Delights on Sengkang East Drive serves yam ring and mala xiang guo, with weekday hours from 11am to 3pm.
